National Infantry Museum

On November 12 we said goodbye to our family and friends for another few months and started driving west. Our first stop was the National Infantry Museum in Columbus, Georgia. Since we love finding new ways to make history and current events come alive for our two little homeschoolers (and for ourselves), this was right up our alley. There were so many exhibits that it took us several hours to go through the halls, and by the end, although we were feeling the information overload, we walked away with a greater respect for our nation, the armed forces of every branch, and the communities across the nation who support our troops at home and abroad. Here are just a few of the best photos from our visit.
